The Today tool lets you select a timezone and returns the current date and time. The tool is dynamic and will always return the date and time of when the tools is run - also when the models runs on a schedule.

Configuration

There are two required inputs of the Today tool.
1

Input Column Name

The Today tool will create a new column. Use this input to name it.

Select Timezone

Select the timezone that you want the current date and time to be formatted in.

When To Use

The Today tool can be used for a lot of different scenarios. The Today tool is excellent whenever you need some dynamic date filtering.
  • Remove all invoices with a due date before the current date to get all overdue invoices
  • Use the Today tool with the Date Math tool to get all the orders of the past month
  • Use the Today tool with the Date Format tool to get orders that are supposed to be deliveried the current month
