The usage of the Correlation tool is quite narrow. It takes two columns and generates a correlation coefficient between the two columns.

The Correlation tool has of three required input.

Select the first column

Select Correlation Method

Choose whether you want to perform a Person or Spearman correlation.

When To Use

That’s relatively simple - if you need to calculate a corrrelation between two columns. You might be working with some time-series data and use the coefficients for additional forecasting.
