This source is incremental by default. The first update extracts everything changed since your start date, and later updates only fetch records that changed since the previous run.
The Sage Accounting source uses OAuth to connect to Sage Business Cloud Accounting (API v3.1) and extract your accounting records into Less.

Setup

There are four steps to setting up a Sage Accounting source: Authenticate, Business, Date Interval, and Tables.
1

Authenticate

Click Authenticate with Sage and sign in to your Sage account. Grant Less access to your accounting data. Less stores a refresh token so updates can run without you signing in again.
Sage refresh tokens expire after 31 days without use. If a source has been paused for longer than that, return to this step and re-authenticate.
2

Business

Leave Business ID blank if your Sage account has a single business — Less detects it automatically. If you have access to several businesses (for example as an accountant or bookkeeper), enter the ID of the one you want to extract. The source lists the available businesses and their IDs in the run log if the ID is missing or does not match.
3

Date Interval

Choose the start date for the extraction, and optionally an end date. On the first update, records created or changed on or after the start date are extracted. Every update after that only fetches records that changed since the previous one.
4

Tables

Select the Sage records you want to extract, such as contacts, sales invoices, journals, and ledger accounts.Documents that contain line items — invoices, credit notes, quotes, journals, and other payments — are stored as two tables: one for the document and one for its lines, linked by the document ID.

Rate limits

Sage allows a limited number of API requests per business per day, shared across every application connected to that business. Less spaces out its requests to stay within the limit, but selecting fewer tables reduces how much of your daily allowance each update consumes.
