There are a number of ways in which you can monitor your scheduled assets on Less. The simplest is from the Home page ranging to building your own custom monitoring with the Log Connector.

Home Page

From the Home page you can get an easy overview of the recent tasks on your Less platform. You can add filtering to look at specific asset types and specific statuses (e.g. errors)

Task History

You can also see asset specific logs - i.e. a task history for a specific model or connections.

Connections. Go to the folder with your connection and click on the three dots to the right-hand side on the row. Click Logs and you’ll see all the previous updates of the connection.

Models. Go to the folder with your model and click on the three dots to the right-hand side on the row. Click Logs and Versions and you’ll see all the previous updates of the model.

Detailed Logs

Detailed Logs can be incredibly helpful if you’re trying to debug why a connection or model errors.

You can find even more detailed logs for every specific update of models and connections.

Connections. In the log overview, click the -icon and you find a detailed overview of what happened during this exact update.

Models. From the job tab in the Logs and Version overview, click the -icon. Here you’ll find a list of every single tool that this model contains including how many rows and columns it transformed and the time it took to run the tool. You will also find custom Warnings here.

Log Connector

If you want to create your own custom monitoring - in a dashboard for example - you can use the Log Connector. A Log Connector extract everything you can find in the Detailed Logs into separate tables in your database. That means you can access them from anywhere, including dashboarding tools.
