1. Whitelist the IP from whereever you’re working in Tableau on the Less Database (or your own).
  2. Open Tableau. On the left-hand side, you should see a menu with a “To a Server” section. Click “More” there and search for “MySQL” and select “MySQL”.
  3. Fill in Host, Port, Database name, Username and Password fields with the relevant credentials found in Less (these). You can leave the port as 3306 (the default value)
  4. Click “Sign In” and you should see your tables under “Table” on the left-hand side of Tableau.
