Connections extracts data from systems, files and databases into Less. An important aspect of Less is that we separate the extraction of data from the transformation of data (which happens on the Canvas). We do this for two primary reasons:
  1. It’s faster. Instead of waiting to extract data when you want to analyze it, it already ready-to-go. That’s much faster.
  2. It’s efficient. Instead of having multiple people extract the same data, you can set up a single connection and share it with the relevant people. Smart for collaboraiton and puts less stress on your sources.
If its technically feasible we build new connectors for free for clients. Just reach out to us and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
You can create new Connections by navigating to the workspaces or a folder and clicking the Create button in the top-right corner.
